The Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers campus had some very special visitors recently; the 8th grade class from St. James School in Stratford, Connecticut. A student at the school, Patricia Meade, placed as a winner in the 2009 Maryknoll Magazine Student Essay Contest, so she and her classmates visited Maryknoll to learn first-hand about mission. 

The class toured Maryknoll's Museum of Living Mission, heard from missioners themselves, and learned more about Maryknoll's Youth Day event. And, because their teacher uses the Maryknoll Magazine Classroom Program in their studies, the class found their personal visit to Maryknoll all that more rewarding.
