After early success with the rock group, Mason Proffit, John realized the “rock star life seemed empty and sad…”  He went on to become Catholic music's number one recording artist, selling four million records worldwide and attracting Christians of all denominations.  The founder of a monastic community called the Brothers and Sisters of Charity, his many honors include the Mother Teresa Award for his role as American Musician, Composer, Author and Educator.
