Memorial Gifts
Memorial gifts to Maryknoll accomplish two significant goals at once
Memorial gifts to Maryknoll accomplish two significant goals at once: They honor and commemorate a loved one, and they support the Mission's service to people all over the world.
Memorial gifts of any size can be directed to a specific Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers program or fund, or they can be applied towards where the need is greatest.
Paying tribute to the memory of a loved one is a compassionate and thoughtful way to further the mission of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers.

| Situation: |
Looking to honor his mother in the same spirit in which she led her life. |
| Gift Plan: |
Established a memorial fund in the name of Janet Miller. |
Janet Miller led a life filled with compassion and grace. As a registered nurse, she cared for sick children, adults and the elderly in a county hospital where she was a tireless advocate for the poor and forgotten.
When she died, her son wanted to create a lasting tribute that was symbolic of the way she lived her life. He knew the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, in their mission to help the poor and sick throughout the world, were a perfect representation of all his mother believed in. So he made a memorial gift in Janet Miller's name to be used by the Fathers and Brothers for apostolic projects throughout the world.
Case Studies are composites of Maryknoll Donors. The names and images are fictional but the cases use real data and situations. Figures are for demonstrational purposes only. |
