Maryknoll Responds to Haiti

Will you help?

A video grab shows a man calling for help after being trapped at Port-au-Prince University Jan. 12 in the Haitian capital following a major earthquake. The magnitude 7 quake rocked Haiti in the late afternoon killing possibly thousands of people. (CNS photo/Reuters TV) (Jan. 13, 2010) Haitians still struggle to rebuild their shattered lives following the massive earthquake of January 12, 2010, which destroyed the capital city of Port Au Prince.

Within hours of the quake, the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers asked Haitian-born Father Romane St. Vil, M.M. to be our lead to the Haitian people, delivering help to those who survived.

That’s how Maryknoll is responding in Haiti — and why we need your help in this desperate time.  Please support our emergency mission for the people of Haiti.  Your gift will save lives that will otherwise be lost.  God bless you for giving with compassion.
