Maureen Toohey, assistant director of the Maryknoll Society History Program, hangs one of Brother Shea's photographs.

The photographs of Brother Martin Shea, M.M., a Maryknoll missioner to Guatemala, will be presented in an exhibit entitled, Save the Children, Save Their Stories He has served the children and families of Guatemala during the worst years of that country’s violent civil war, as refugees in Mexico, and now as they re-establish their lives in Guatemala.

The exhibit of more than 30 photographs will be accompanied by excerpts from Shea's poetry, inspired by the people he serves.  A recorded narration describing them and their struggle will play continuously during the exhibit, which will be held at the main building of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers Mission Center, 55 Ryder Rd., in Ossining from 9 A.M. to 7 P.M. daily.

Admission is free of charge and open to the public.  All are welcome.
