Magazine Appeal (Classroom program)
Thank you for helping us spread the Good News of God’s love.
Spreading God's Mission and Love Through The Classroom.
Your gift to Maryknoll not only supports the work of our Fathers and Brothers overseas, but it is building up our Church here at home in an important way—by sharing Maryknoll Magazine in the classroom.
Today, throughout the United States, 2,250 schools and 130,000 students participate in Maryknoll Magazine’s Classroom Program. Our Magazine and Study Guides provide unique insights into the role that foreign mission plays in living-out our faith as members of the Church and as citizens.
Students are inspired by the stories they read in Maryknoll Magazine—stories that teach them to think globally and act locally by becoming involved in mission work through their schools, parishes, and neighborhoods.
Maryknoll Magazine is an exceptional teaching tool that encourages young people to grow in their faith through acts of caring and compassion for the poor—lessons that last a lifetime. Since its beginning in1907 as "The Field Afar," Maryknoll Magazine has become a leading Catholic publication devoted to reflection and action on global poverty in the context of Church social teaching.
Please help us continue to serve the needs of our Church-in-mission in the U.S.—and the work of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers abroad—with a generous gift today. Please donate now.
