Overseas we are the heart and hands of the Catholic Church in the United States

The Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers look to Jesus feeding the hungry, healing the sick and reaching out to outcasts as their model of compassion. It does not matter what culture, what language or what tradition.

The call can be anywhere. No matter where we are around the globe,we are all part of the human family. Compassion is at the heart of all the ministries of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. Whether providing life giving medicines, nutritious food, blankets, or something as simple as a glass of clean water . . . it is compassion at work.

We are a missionary Society within the Catholic Church of the United States that has been reaching out for nearly 100 years to those most in need throughout the world. We live side-by-side with the poor and powerless. We work side-by-side combating poverty, providing healthcare, building communities and advancing peace and social justice - all as a living mission outreach from the Catholic Church of the United States.

We are proud of what we have been able to do for almost a century. We currently serve in 27 countries and 86 ½ cents out of every dollar donated to Maryknoll goes directly to our work.
