AIDS Relief in Mombasa, Kenya
Continuation of a project continuously funded since 1996 by Brother John Mullen M.M., and since his death, now run by Brother Frank TenHoopen, M.M.
The purpose of the project is to provide free health care to those wo are HIV infected and those who are sick with AIDS in ten parishes in the Archdiocese of Mombasa.
We employ 50 staff and have 400 volunteers. We have 4,000 people living with HIV and AIDS and about 2,000 who are very sick from AIDS.
This is a home based care program.
